I got some Gavia Open Tubulars earlier this year for races and they're awesome! My suggestion is to take up Torelli on this sponsorship and get a pair of either the Gavia Open Tubulars (clinchers) or the Lugano Tubulars and stick 'em on the shelf and save them for race day early next season. You know that if you get them now you'll have the security of knowing they're ready to go. In my opinion, the Gavia tires don't have a ton of tread life, as they're 320 TPI, but man do they feel wonderful; my plan is to throw some latex tubes in them next year and get as close to tubs as possible without having the real thing. Just my two cents.
