it was such a fun and exciting race. juniors race went off the very first race at 7:30 in the morning. it was a little cold but you got warmed up quick. it was a very big race in EVERY feild. there was about 40 junior racers in mine and i finished 15. juniors had 2 crashes, one in which was very bad. blew up a zipp wheel in someones skewer and hit the metal side rails and one in the womens pro 1/2 where about 6 girls went down. there were some really big teams there also. only CVC rider there other than dave maddux. what the heck guys! ha

A super fun race to attend, with lots of fanfare and Dave Towle commentating. The elite 4 race started out pretty tame, then got crazy fast. 85 riders started, the biggest field I have raced yet. The big field and sketchy/aggressive riding caused a couple of crashes that went off right in front of me but I was able to avoid. I sat on, trying to stay near the front and survived. The last 10 laps speeds were in the high 20s, 29 mph on the straights. I finished in the main group.
