Hey Gang,

As race director and Andrew's assistant I would like to thank all of you that helped make the race a sucess.

Now I would like to challange all of you to help make this race bigger and better next year. The overall monetary impact for the amount of work involved may not be worth the effort. But the statement that we as a club and a community make to the riders from throuhout the state and the non riders in our community will be worth a ton in the future.

I am guilty of waiting till the last minute to start working on the race and then surviving the chaos by asking too much of too few. I think we need in the next 30 days to put together a real race committe with specific duties and regular planning meetings. The goal of this group should be to put on 2 full days of racing either a RR, TT or a circuit race. We should somehow incorporate Chinatown, Kearney Park or Downtown. Even though it would be cool to do a long RR in the mountains they would not be very good for potential sponsors. Without sponsors there is no monetary benifit to the club.

While this club is about racing it also about giving something back to the community and making our world a little bit better. BAT and BAR points are great but watching our junoir riders work with the Howard boys that was priceless. Thanks guys. Bringing more people into contact with our sport can only help all of us in the long run. Having the public see articles in the paper like the ones we have seen the last week help them understand we are athletes we are not on the road just to delay their travels.

I hope each of you think about what your specific skills could bring to the party and when I send out a proposed race committe sign up sheet you volunteer for something that you will like to do and do well. If we get that from each of you this race could in time become the best race on the West Coast. Look Out McLane!!

The meeting this Wednesday night will be all about the race. We have prizes for riders and volunteers. So bring your ideas and your appetite I hear the club might be pitching in for a little food. Maybe Thomas can share some of the Pic's of the event.

Thanks again and I will see you Wed.

Disregard any spling errers I dont no how to use this ting yet

Looks like I was using my kids license to make my Post. Can I get credit for the points. Should I contact Casey. I may never become more than a new member at this rate.
